Would love to pick the brains of some serious Coues deer hunters. Never hunted them and curious what makes these desert ghosts so special?

Rough terrain. Hard to find. Hard to stalk. It's a fun challenge. Not to mention they live in some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen.

Nothing better than finding a Coues 700-800 yds away and trying to close the distance. Could only get to 435 yds before he new something was wrong. Had about 30 seconds before he was gone forever.
