Oh yea that’s right the “elk only” Colorado Bowhunters Ass choose to push the opening date for archery. Or archery deer hunters lost the best 6 days of hunting this year…

Yea quite the Ass looking out for deer hunters in Colorado.

Lost almost a full week. Yea thanks CBA for totally screwing mule deer hunters.

Thought I was gonna have to break somebody’s heart. Let them know the week of vacation they took for deer hunting was a week too early. I’m relieved.

In truth Colorado archery mule deer hunters didn't lose "almost a full week" of hunting. They lost the best time to hunt though. Instead of starting in August like in the past, the season always starts on 9/2 now and is open through 9/30.

Archers did lose 1 actual day of hunting. But that 1 day is nothing compared to the days they can't hunt in August now.

And yes the blame lays at the feet of the CBA. They pushed the CPW so hard to get the elk season open through the month of September they essentially crapped on the deer hunters. And actually lost a day of hunting in the process. The CBA was snakey in the past. And after crapping on archery deer hunters the trend is continuing.
