I find myself looking more and more toward podcasts and “independent” news sources, if there is such a thing. It’s getting tougher and tougher to find unbiased sources of information
I mostly focus local news.. Breaking Points on YouTube, for anything else. Some news networks outside US aren't to bad either.
The "news networks" are in business to sell adds not report news.
Local only. 30 mins with sports and weather gives just enough time to report, no opinions on how I should think or feel. If it’s important they’ll touch in it. Much happier.
Turned the news off 3 years ago and my life has gotten so much better.
I will generally glance at headlines from a couple different webpages but I don’t take much weight or read further. MSN also has a “local” section so I read the headlines there too.
I spend about 5 minutes in the morning on newsnationnow and a local news channel. Once I get depressed and agitated, I go to one of the meme forums here and my day's all better!
I hit all the big sites throughout the day. (CNN, Fox, MSN, AZcentral) and then make my own determination on what really happened. They are all so crooked it's hard to get actual non- slanted news any more.
