I have a 2010 Hoyt Maxxis 31- 29.5 draw length with 70lb limb cranked down. I started to notice a drop off in my consistency this last season my groups were really not that good starting around 60 yards. Unfortunately my personal schedule didn't allow me to get to my closest bow shop in Reno about a 3 hour drive. About a month ago I found this forum and joined after researching my new pack- I started at the very first thread in "Archery" and read everyone that interested me. I put an order in for some Archery Tackle- bow press, squares, levels, etc.
So last weekend I got around to tuning. Measured My ATA 31 5/8 supposed to be 31 1/4. I pressed my bow took off the cables and string and hung them with 50lbs to stretch them. They all measured long about 1/2 inch each, these are winners choice strings with 2 seasons on them. I didn't keep an accurate count of how many twists I added but about 5-10 each until everything measured to Hoyt Tune chart- String 54, Control Cable 35.5, Buss Cable 33.25. I measured from the very top of each loop- they were strung with a very small carabiner. I restrung the bow and measured ATA at 31.5 not what I was looking for- it get's worse. I draw the bow back and you can see in the top picture that my upper cam stop is about an inch from my control cable- how's that for synchronization.

I'm planning on ordering a new set of strings but would like to get these tuned for a backup and could obviously gain some experience by going through the process. I very much appreciate your help in getting me back in the game.
