What's your ideal scope magnification range?

Couldn't give me another 14x and my 5 x 22 NXS hasn't been off 22x since it went on the rifle.

Second! If you are going long... If you are still hunting or in the heavy stuff then something less is preferable for me.

Go with the 18, if you're going to shoot to a 1000 and beyond.

This ^^ I've been using the 3.5 -18 swaro and have no problem hitting way out there
