What’s the general consensus on the gen 2 SWFA 3-15?

I don’t own one, but I have handled it. I think it’s a great scope, but for my purposes, I prefer the 6x and 10x. I have four each of the 6x and 10x, along with one of the 3-9x.

I also just picked up an SWFA 5-20x a couple of days ago.

If the S2H scope wasn’t coming out this fall, I probably would have bought a 3-15x to try out.

I got one for my 25-06 and 223 and couldn’t be happier. My experience has been dial, shoot, hit.

It’s generally quite good, kinda sucks above 12x, much more impacted by glare than any scope I’ve ever used. Mine has already been through some rough use and never moved a bit on zero, lots of trust there. Turrets a little wonky in that they don’t always perfectfully align with gradation on windage.

I have several they work, wonderfully very simple very reliable very reasonably priced. What’s not to like

I have one on a lightweight 280AI , so far it has been great. As always the turrets could be slimmed down. I have had good luck with their scopes.

Thanks everyone, I ended up picking one up. I genuinely think it has better glass than the FFP LHT I have. This is going to live on my T3X 6.5 Creedmoor that sits in a McMillan A5 stock with a spiral fluted 24” 900 Varmint barrel that is suppressed with a Dead Air Nomad Ti XC. Looking forward to getting some trigger time behind it.
