What type of tree...

Can anyone identify this tree? Looks like an ash tree but the leaves are rigged. Thanks!

Best guess is American Elm or European White Elm. Typical, rough bark: American. Smoothish bark European.

There are a lot of similar elm species though. Hard to narrow down by one picture.

Appreciate the responses. I’ll look into the different species of elm trees and try and narrow it down. The conservation office accidentally mixed it in with some ash trees and it took off over the past ten years. Would like to plant some more on the edge of my cattle yard for some shade. Would put in some ash but the emerald ash borer is running through the area.
