What states require 'back tags' to be worn?

I miss having to wear them in Wisconsin. We used to play poker, best 5 card hand you could make from your backtag won the pot. My favorite part was always going to the registration station (usually a bar) and seeing what everyone hauled in. Having a beer and shooting the shit while telling hunting stories. Those were the good ol’ days.

MT and ID don't require them. I'd actually never even heard of this until reading this post.

I don't miss having that tag on my back.

I don’t see how anyone could miss a sign of Big Brother having his thumb on you. Worse than telling you that you can’t hunt on Sunday, etc.

Not needed in Pa. but I still wear my license on my back pinned to my needed Flo orange vest.
