Gloves are the bane of my existence. Anything light weight barely lasts me a season. Stitching issues in the finger tips seems to be a common issue for me. I have yet to find a pair that are bombproof other than my expedition Outdoor Research gloves. But these are heavy and the dexterity sucks. I am trying to get feedback on what people use and like for mid weight gloves. Looking for a balance of dexterity, warmth and quality construction (especially concerning stitching in fingers). Waterproof is not a concern but if it's there than great. These would be used for when temps start to dip below 35 degrees and I am sitting around not moving around a lot. Thanks for any input!

I got sick of the glove issue when sitting still so I bought a hand muff to use and reduce the need for a heavy glove. You can also stick a chemical hand warmer inside and never have cold hands or have to deal with poor dexterity. Seems as though most truly warm gloves suck for hunting. I did buy a pair of Brown Chilly grip gloves and I really like them for when I am on the move. Can't beat their price either.

I have been using Sitka Jetstream gloves for the past 2 seasons and love them! Great dexterity, block the wind awesome and hold up great like all the Sitka stuff seems too.

I've worn them from 20 to 50 degrees and have been pretty happy with them.

I buy cheap army wool liners by the dozen. One pair above 45, two pairs on top of each other down to 25, and if it colder than that I put them in a pocket when not working. I find that constriction is the coldest aspect of gloves. Size 4

I recently picked the Sitka Talus Glove. I've been running the Sitka Shooter Gloves for a few years and was looking for a little heavier of a glove. The Talus feels and acts as a burlier and warmer Shooter glove. I throw my First Lite Merino gloves underneath if it gets cold.

I like the Sitka gloves because I can try them on locally and they are usually not to hard to find on sale somewhere.

I really like the UA ridge reaper glove, taky palm, good dexterity, and fairly good warmth to weight. Second would be the sitka shooter glove.
