As the title states what bullets are you shooting this season? I myself am trying hammer bullets for the first time in my 25-06 and 6.5 creedmoor for black bear and whitetail.

I’m shooting speer gold dot 140s in my 6.5x55. They shoot great but I’m not sure I will have the opportunity to rifle hunt with them this year

156gr Bergers out of 6.5 PRC at 2980fps.

Hopefully will have the opportunity at Elk and Mule deer in CO rifle seasons.

I shoot exclusively hammer bullets for hunting. They work very well for me and have never had any issue...these 2 are 143Hammers that were recovered from a moose I shot 2 weeks ago (dang that's a fuzzy pic sorry). They went completely through both shoulders and stuck in the hide. The first shot was a pass through that clipped the heart. Internals were mush.

Used Sierra boat tails for years, changed to Hammers this year, liking them so far. Antelope down, leaving tomorrow for Wyoming deer hunt then back home with the grandkids for deer elk antelope and bear, then in November Utah with my grandson for elk.

This will be my 4th season shooting Hammers exclusively. The only change this year is I have a 7saum shooting the 140 Absolute Hammer, all previously bullets were Hunters.
