What boots for wide high arch feet?

I have a measured 12 EE shoe size. The boots that have fit me the best have been the Keen Targhee in 12 wide.

I got a pair of Lowa Camino's in extra wide two months ago because I started getting tendinitis in my achilles. It turns out my orthopedist went to college in Colorado and is a big backpacker and he said I needed a stiffer boot. After much reading I ordered the Camino's and they felt great for the first month. Now after some break in I am getting pressure on the top of my feet. I have read go up 1/2 a size but once you hit size twelve the next size is 13 not 12 1/2. I also read several reviews saying that these boots ran slightly large.

I was able to try on the Salomon Quest 4d this week in size 12 and it felt better than my Lowa's but slightly tight. They don't make a wide. The store didn't have the 13 in stock. Would I be better off trying a 13 in the salomons or is there something else out there that would probably fit better? Living in NJ there is almost no place that i can get anything better than my Keens.

Any help would be much appreciated!

My feet are about the same size. I have foot gear from 12-13 in wides. EE to EEE.

Solomon’s don’t work. Too narrow. Good luck with wides in asolo, danner, Merrell’s and a pair of kenetrek mountain extremes. I have a pair of crispi Idaho’s that are my best fitting boots.

Like I said I tried on the salomon 12's this week and they were pretty close honestly probably as wide and possibly slightly wider than the Lowa's. But I am not willing to buy the 13 without trying them on. Then I spoke to Lowa today and they had me fill out a warranty claim. Hopefully they do something for me. It's really IMO not a fit issue because they felt great until they developed this crease that is putting pressure on my feet. According to the website I will know their answer within a week.
