What Are You applying For/Planning To Hunt This Fall?

I know some application periods are over, some are under way and more are to come. What did you apply for and in what state? For those over the counter guys what are you going to be chasing this fall?

Rifle Elk- Have a couple points and a decent shot at drawing this year.

Turkey
Elk if I don't draw.

I'm going to pull a buck mule deer and trophy antelope tag. For the freezer I'll either have the wife get her cow elk draw or I'll pull a moose tag. I'm only doing one or the other as that's all the meat we actually need. That leaves me free to chase bull elk and whitetail on general tags.
This will be in Alberta, our draws don't go in until the end of May/ beginning of June. The way our system works I already know I've got enough priority to take these tags so there's no luck involved.

All Alaska applications, I've never applied for tags in any other state. This year I applied for kodiak mountain goat, Dall sheep, local moose, and Kodiak brown bear. I'll definitely be hunting Kodiak this year for registration goat and deer, and will more than likely be doing a registration Alaska Range sheep hunt.

I'm going to AK moose hunting and I'll apply for a cow elk tag in UT again. Other then that I'll get my normal 2 bull elk and 2 deer tags here in ID and apply for a extra elk and a antelope tag. I got 3 elk (2 bulls and a cow) and a antelope last year but didn't shoot a deer so it's my goal to change that this year.

I've already got my Idaho deer and elk tags. I'll put in for archery deer here in UT I guess, hate dealing with the crowds. Not sure if I'll buy an elk tag or not here, it's a madhouse. I'll build my LE elk tag points in UT, putting in for archery deer in Nevada. That's about it I think. Oh, and I'll buy points again for WY.

I'll 100% be hunting Brown Bear, Grizzly Bear, Black Bears, Moose, Mountain Goat, Sitka Blacktails, and Dall Sheep in 2017. Where and when depends on the draw results Friday.

As for other states, I'll just be banking points across the board again unless I strike gold and pull a bighorn tag in UT, AZ, ID, CO, or NV. Fat Chance on that happening this decade though.

I apply for moose, sheep, goat, elk, deer, and pronghorn every year in CO. Always have to wait and see on the lottery draws on moose, sheep, and goat. I won't draw elk this year, so OTC or pick up a reissue tag again. I turned in my high point deer tag last year, not sure what I'm going to do this year.

Will apply for either sex archery deer, pp for elk. Pick up OTC archery elk.

I put in for Wyoming elk again. Only have 1 point but I've put in for 2 high percentage units, plus a general. Not sure if I'll draw or not.

Wyoming reduced price doe/fawn antelope.

My backup plan if the elk tag doesn't come off is OTC archery elk in Utah or OTC rifle elk in Idaho.

I will be hunting Elk and Deer over the counter in Idaho and I will be putting in for a Moose draw in Idaho. I will be putting in for everything in my home state of Washington, Elk, Deer, Moose, Cougar, Black Bear, Mt. Goat and Big Horn Sheep. I hoping for another big year.

Applying in Arizona for elk, muleys, and bighorn. Wyoming for elk and muleys, and then hoping to get lucky in New Mexico on elk.

I'll for sure be hunting black bears in Alaska this May, and will use Idaho as my likely fallback option to hunt elk this September. Then I will be focusing on Illinois whitetails.

I put in for all 4 elk tags in KY. Rifle bull, rifle cow, archery bull, archery cow. I will also be buying a big game combo for Montana and buying points for antelope/ mule deer in Wyoming.

And I'll be hunting whitetail and turkey here in KY.

Ohio whitetails after that, been on a good run in Ohio. Got a great lease and got permission on probably a better farm but smaller last year.
