This is creating a bit of a buzz. OpenAI has released an “Artificial Intelligence” API demo that seems to be inching us towards the cliff of the robot overlords. You can try it out too on beta.openai.com. I naturally asked it where to go hunting:

Also curious if it could solve some of our most pressing issues….

Ok, so based on that response this isn't an AI at all, it's simply a version of SIRI.

We all know that wolves will only reduce an elk population to the stated population objectives for the unit (that falls under population control) and then they move on to other areas to do the same. At least all AI devices know that.

More seriously, it does beg the question of who trained the AI model with that information?

Just think the same AI that is in your self driving vehicles is at this same tech level. Again only as good as the person who programmed it.
