Weird Racks

Not too crazy but got one in ‘18 with one front that was a roller coaster, a large kicker on left side, and a “hollow” on right side.

A lot of the deformaties I see are caused by them breaking a pedicel when they are very young. One spring we had three bulls in the field that had a developing six point going up on one side and a 2-3 point with clubs growing down on the other side.

My son killed one of them the next year but I have never been so lucky.

A 5x2 bull I shot several years ago. The antlers were not damaged in the rut and nothing was broken off. It had to be something genetic. I saw a bull that was a year or two older than this one that had the exact same antler configuration on the same mountain a couple years after I shot this guy. Pretty cool.

My buddy Mark shot this bull several years ago near where we live. He's a 6 point but as you can see the left antler grows out of the skull more in the front. We assume that the bull broke his skull sometime earlier in his lifetime. Amazing that he lived and continued on like nothing happened.
1709396179795.png My dads Missouri Breaks bull had devil tines on top of his brow tines on both sides. Not super uncommon, but still pretty neat.
