I haven't seen this discussed. Thoughts?

Very interested after listening to the podcast...

Adam Weatherby quoted the weight of the short action chambers at around 6.5 pounds if I remember correctly.

Seems like it'll be in contention for my next rifle purchase. Looking at this and the new roughtec tikka

Wish it was offered in other weatherby calibers. Not a fan of the stock paint job.

Looks like a pretty solid rifle!

So far I really like the direction of their expanded branding.

1/2x28 threads are...curious. Those threads are typically used for 9mm or 5.56. For those calibers, I would expect a 5/8x24. Good looking rifle though, looking forward to reviews on it. Now that they are made in Wyoming, I feel obligated to get one being from there. Almost makes me wish I didn't get a new hunting rifle. Maybe I can just settle and get it in a different caliber and convince myself I "need" it for a slightly different purpose :ROFLMAO:

The thread pitch has to do with the barrel profile not the caliber. I had my sporter profile 270 threaded for my suppressor and its threaded 1/2, reason being the barrel isn’t thick enough at the end to do the 5/8 threading.
