For sale, Weatherby Backcountry in 6.5 RPM. This is "First Gen" Mark V Backcountry with the AG Composites "Privateer" carbon fiber stock made in Wyoming.

Less than 200 rounds through the barrel. Light use marks. Just over 7lbs scoped (LHT) with Talley UL rings and stock pack.

Will include reloading dies and 3 boxes of Weatherby factory ammunition 127 LRX and 140 Interlock, plus any once fired brass on hand.

Will also throw in 124gr Hammer Hunter bullets on hand (1 box).

Selling to fund other hunting projects/optics purchases.

$1700 net to me, to your FFL in lower 47 (additional cost for AK, CA). (FFL must accept rifle mailed from non-FFL individual)

I don’t have one right now. I could remove the Bushnell LRHS scope and weigh if really necessary.

Should be right at 5.4 lbs. See snapshot of Weatherby website below.

Edit: Added photos of weight and scratches. Recoil pad slightly deformed from sitting in safe. Typical of first gen 3D printed recoil pads from Weatherby.

Awesome deal. I have a 6.5 RPM in the Weathermark LT with a 4x14 Leupold VX3i on it. Full set up with sling is 7.3lbs. They claim the LT is 5.9 bare and I’d say it’s probably pretty darn close to that. Shoots lights out. Someone will be happy with this set up for a light weight mountain rifle.
