Selling my rare Weatherby Mark V Dangerous Game Rifle in 300 Weatherby. It has factory cerakote, It's been glass bedded and I bought the Long Range Precision box mag that holds 5 rounds. It has a Timney trigger. I have the stock base plate. I'll include the 1 piece rail that's on it. 26 in barrel. I had the rifle 3 years and bought it from the original owner who had 35 rounds through it. With the decelerator pad the recoil isn't bad. It's actually better than the 30.06 I had. At age 66 it's a little heavy for me. The factory weight is 8.75 lbs. It's a tack driver with Barnes TTSX 180 gr. @3245 fps. I have well over $3000 into this. $1,950 and $25 shipping to your FFL for the rifle. The scope is sold. I can take more pics if you'd like to see more pics.

Thats a perfect rifle to pair up with a heavier DGR on a mixed bag african hunt or a primary rifle on a Alaskan griz/BB hunt...where weight isnt a priority but a slamming cartridge w/ back up sights might be. Nice set-up and good luck with the sale.

I’m confused.
Your write up says 300 Weatherby, but the dies are 300 Winchester.

It is confusing and I should have listed them separately. I did have a 300 Winchester at one time.

There has to be someone needing this nice rifle at a decent price. You dont see these rifles very often for sale, anywhere. It would even make a great "tip" to a guide for a successful sheep or moose hunt. Who needs another pair of Swaro EL's?

It would be interesting to see what a weight scale actually registers.
