Water bottle exo 4800 BRO

I do not run a bladder bug use water bottle. Anyone have experience with Exo 4800 BRO and if the smaller side pockets can even handle a tall Nalgene or even just a smart water plastic bottle? Was interested in the pockets on this model but the side pockets that would use for water bottle may be a deal breaker.

On the bro bag I could not get a bottle to stay in. It’s to small for that. It’s probably only 1/3 of the size of the non BRo bags. I just sold my bro bag for how small the stretchy pockets were. Non functional in my opinion.

I just use an insulated Camelbak bottle pouch on my hip belt on my EXO. Lot easier than reaching back to the side pockets anyways. Use a 1L Nestle Brisk bottle in it, fits perfect. SmartWater bottle is too tall for that particular pouch.

I bought one of the bottle holders from pods8. Works perfect.
