Followed this set of tracks for 2 miles today out on GMU 460. I’m an XL in Gloves, and they fit tight. No shortage of food for this heavy cat up there.

That is the front right track of a black bear. Black bear tracks show 5 toes and claws. Cat tracks have 4 toes and no claws. Below is a jaguar track i took a photo of, cougar tracks are similar, but a jaguar track is wider than long whereas a cougar track is about the same width and length as well as less space between the toes and pad.

Sorry to ruin your Siberian story but it is still a cool find.

Sorry dude, but this made me laugh out loud. Wtf is a siberian cougar? Lol.

Small world, but here's a cougar that I killed in 460. Yours has an extra toe...

This is been the most pleasantly surprising thread ever. Keep it going!

I’m gonna stick with Washington Siberian, maybe change cougar to jaguar though.

Couldn’t be a black bear. They are too sickly and weak from winter. 😂
