Is anyone willing to share some info on the Winston. I thinking about heading that way for late season archery.

I was there for modern and it was a zoo. I hunted a walk in area and even that was crowded. In years past I have hunted the late archery and it can get pretty busy also. The elk get run pretty hard from early archery-modern and then late season. Combine that with the several hundred cow tags they hand out and it can be a tough unit, crowd-wise
What type area are you looking for?

An area that is closed to road hunters so I can escape some of the crowd. I dont minding hiking or mt. biking into the area I'm hunting. I would also like an area where there is some glassing potential and not so brushy that it is impossible to walk or shoot through.
