Warm weather tops

Does anybody hunt in short sleeve shirt when the weather gets warm/hot? Going archery in S. Idaho and last year sounds like it broke into the 80's. That's hot for any sort of long sleeves!! Thanks

Me too. Hunted with a guy who wore SS shirts and when he was walking through some thick timber about 80 yards away, I couldn't see him, but I easily saw his bare skin. It stuck out like a sore thumb.

I will hunt with short sleeves, but I also have full sleeve tattoos. I just have some cheap camo ss shirts. Nothing fancy

I always have base layers on for elk hunts, so if it gets that hot and uncomfortable I'll take my camo Microtex shirt off. I can always roll my sleeves up on my base layer as well if I want.

Did you go with the kryptek mandrake or highlander pattern for your tat's?

I normally just wear a long sleeve 1/4 zip Sitka shirt. If it gets really hot I'll wear a light t-shirt. If I'm doing a stalk I'll change it out for the long sleeves.

Here in CA, we don't often hunt deer in the 80's - usually in the 90's or 100's and I still wear long sleeves.
