Just got back from a trip and hung up my Kodiak canvas tent to dry out. Just curious how long people let them air out for to make sure they don't get mold growing. Any tips or ways to test moisture levels? I really like this tent and want to make it last.

All depends on where you live. I'm in the high desert of Wyoming with no humidity, takes my tent a couple hours in the sun on my cement patio.

It's got to be tough with a sewn in floor on the Kodiak. I imagine that continuously flipping it over in the hot sun would eventually dry it all out, but you'll have to keep checking the bottom, the top, and the sides to make sure. Generally I try to take down my wall tent after it's already dried on the top and the walls. Then when I get home I just lay it out on a tarp, unfold it, and the bottom of the walls that will be wet from sitting against the ground for days will be "up". I make sure those dry and then fold it and roll it back up and put it away. If the tent's wet when I take it down, then I set it up in the yard until it is dry and then on to the drying step for the bottom edges.

I've currently got it hung up in my garage with everything opened up and a fan blowing into it. I just want to make sure it's good. When I originally bought this thing used it was rotted out and the guy was sure it was dry before putting it up. Fortunately Kodiak will sell just the body.

I got stuck in 3 days of straight rain / snow, rolled my kodiak up, brought it home and hung it fully assembled in the garage like you. I stuck a fan inside and moved it ~ 4 times a day. 2 days later it was dry as a bone, but I did flip it and towel dry / sun bake the bottom for about an hour before rolling it up. No growth I could see or smell 2 weeks later
