Vortex Uers's--- Viper HS LR- XLR MOA Reticle Questions

I bought one of these and want to hear some feedback from some of you guys hunting with these. Before I mounted this I've been doing some 200-365 yard glassing with it and it seems the fine crosshair may be too fine in a lot of low light hunting situations especially near dark timber on darker critters. I have second thoughts about this scope and am thinking about getting a HSLR Deadhold BDC beacause of the bigger crosshair. The only reason I haven't considered the PST is a few states don't allow lighted crosshair. What's your thoughts / experiences.

Been running the 6-24x50 ffp for 3 years now and no problem in low light seeing the reticle. Love the reticle use it for both hunting and shooting comps. I have shot a few deer that have been last minutes of legal light. I have come to not want any scope not in the ffp but that is as much user preference as reticles.
