Vortex Razor

Phillip, if you are comparing the the Generation II Razors (double hinge) that are a few years old there is no comparison between those & the Newer Razor HD models of today. Night & day difference! The new models are much clearer, brighter & have better resolution.

I would like to stay about 1000 for new binos. I do like the warranty with the vortex. I have a bushnell monocular that I do like but at distance it was giving off alot of heatwaves. I was just talking about the newer models. This is something that would be used mainly in the midwest for turkey and deer hunting. I was thinking the 10x42 or 12x50.

12x50 for checking out turkey? i find i cannot hold (by hand) a 12x very well.

hell, i love to put my 10x's on a tripod.

my friend is coming over at 6:00pm tonight to show me his new Vortex binos. not sure which ones he got..cant wait to check them out at low light.

i can see the veins in the tree nuts at my house right to the very end of light.. you know those weird balls on oak trees.? tree nuts..hmm. pretty sure my tree is a girl.

I tried them side by side at my local army navy and for my eyes there was no way I would spend over double on swarovski's The razor hd's are that good.

Same experience here. I compared it side by side with leica and swaro and saw no difference. Im super impressed with my vortex 10x42 hd's. Hard to beat that price+quality+warranty package!

Well let me know I'm really on the fence between these and spending big money on swaro thanks!!!

Jeez. He bought viper HD's. Damn good. We didn't get to push it with low light but they were great. I want to see some razors now.

His were 10x 50's. Very good. Light too!
