I was just on the Vortex website and noticed the Guide Bino harness / pack. This looks just like an AGC Kodiak cub. Is this made bye AGC and just has a Vortex logo on it ?

Yep they are AGC with a vortex logo. I love mine can to wrong with one!

Are the pockets on them large enough to accommodate a rangefinder? I'm in between this and the marsupial with the rangefinder pocket.

The front pocket holds my older Nikon Prostaff, but it's tight. Newer, smaller rangefinders would fit fine I would think. The zipper could also be an issue if you're in close and need to pull it out to range something. It's a nice little pack though.
