Who: The Wood River Chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation and IDFG Regional habitat Biologists
What: Sagebrush seedling planting event
When: Saturday NOV 1 9:00 AM
Where: Meet at Picabo Angler Parking lot-Picabo Idaho
Why: To improve burned winter range and migration habitat for Mule Deer.
This will be the first planting effort by the Wood River Chapter and we will need about 20 volunteers. If you cannot come help, please help us spread the word! See the flyer with QR code below!
I know it is hunting season for some of us with later tags. Know that we are limited by seasonality and did not pick this date randomly. These plants must be planted in the fall!
