Verdict on CO Unit 551?

Can anyone who hunted in unit 551 comment on how last year's winter affected the deer and elk herds?

The regional biologist said the elk wintered fine and the deer suffered. While, I'm sure that's the case... just how bad was it?

the Herds usually migrate to hotter region, so at the time if the year, hunter would have to check weather report and do a little tracking.
