Velvet Antlers

I was on a second rifle hunt in Colorado and ended up shooting a buck that was mostly in velvet. I scraped it off and was left with the white colored antlers.

Is it important to get that blood stain out of them? Would you stain them with a commercial product or just leave them white?

Its your preference. I personally would've left the velvet on if possible.
