Anyone using these? I was thinking of picking a pair up for the hikes in warmer weather where my kennetreks would be to warm. Mainly on trails with a light to moderate pack wieght.

Is there any similar boots to look at? I was looking at lowa Tibet gtx and the hard scrabble but they were heavy and over all just to much like my treks. I have tried some of the Merrell high tops but I found the sole to soft.

bought my wife a pair, returned them shortly after as the were fairly narrow near the pinky toe...

I just picked up a pair of these and yes they are tight in the toe box, I should of returned them but didn't.

The soles are grippy and have heavy lugs, very nice traction. I hate hard soled boots as they are very slick on wet surfaces.

Other than the small toe being cramped they are comfortable and don't seem to cause any hot spots.
