alright thanks for the video aron, now i have to order a second one of these to see if the unit i had was defective or something......it just always had that initial "catch" when panning. if you've been happy with it i have high hopes that it was just an issue with the unit i had.

I did need to crank it pretty hard to get "free spin" on tilt mode, so I may have loosened things up from doing that.
