I've read some good reviews on hear about this spotting scope. Has anybody been able to compare it to any vortex scopes? Is it similar to a viper hd? Or more like a diamondback?

Thanks, Nick

There is a article here on the home page where it is compared against a swaro 80mm, Darin Cooper wrote it up. Based on that review I would say it is better then the viper.

This is the scope I have and I love it. I've used both this one and a vortex razor hd. I have o regrets selling the vortex. I don't glass a lot, but they seemed to be close for me quality wise and i got the vanguard for less than half the price of the razor if I remember correctly.

I sold my razor as well, went with 15's and have zero regret but my next spotter will be the 82a. I prefer long glassing sessions with two eyes, eventually I'll get a spotter but for my style it is the least needed optic.

I picked up my scope from the post office this evening and rushed home with just a little light left. This thing is amazing, I'm really impressed with it. Thanks for the input.

I also ended up picking one up. Looking forward to putting it to use over bean fields this summer.

Received my Endeavor HD 65S last night. After opening the box I cleaned the lenses and subsequently affixed the eyepiece to the scope. I put the scope up to a white background and to my dismay saw debris inside either the scope or eyepiece. After cleaning all the lenses several times, the debris remained. Disappointing to say the least. I contacted the supplier and they immediately emailed me a return shipping label. Once they receive the damaged scope, they will send me another. Hopefully, the quality of #2 will be better.

Did you get your replacement yet?

I did. Just got back from traveling for work yesterday and opened it up this morning. No debris!

I am going to put it to the test this evening on some bean fields if this rain lets up.

Love this spotter for the money. I picked one up a 65A a year ago for $390. Thought I would try it before I spent big dollars. I was just out taking a few pics with it.

I'd love to see some discoped pictures you took with this. I've been trying to decide if the 82a will work for my needs or not

I picked up an 82a awhile ago for a smokin deal out of the cabelas bargain cave. I'm very impressed by it, going to compare my buddies 85mm Razor when I get a chance.
