Hey all you ultralighters. I have made a major design change to the V2-QDMT mount. Generation 2 of the V2-QDMT eliminates the single 8X32 set screw that press against the firearms QD-Stud. The Gen2 design uses a perfectly contoured clamp that is compressed with 2 6X32 Stainless Steel Cap screws and lock washers. The clamp contour radius, is .1875, so it matches the diameter of the Industry Standard Quick Detatch sling stud perfectly .The Gen2 QDMT no longer can scar the firearms QD-Stud, and is not dependent on the RED/BLUE NYLOC patch on the 8X32 set screw for locking.
