Gotta say. Kinda blown away with the quality and craftsmanship on this supposedly USA MADE scope ring, especially for the money. Paid 53.11$ on Amazon for em on this semi budget .300 BO Ruger American Ranch Gen II build. Finish is impeccable. Seem ridiculously precise in how they grip the scope and pic rail both. Just elegant in their execution given any price point.

Is that gap as big as it looks on both sides?

Could you measure the gap?.I generally see about .025" - .030" gap when installed and properly torqued.

They’re not torqued in that pic, mocked up for eye relief and reticle leveling
