Utah East Wasatch Muzzleloader Deer

Got impatient and drew the east wasatch late muzzleloader deer hunt. Haven’t hunted the area for a couple decades and looking for general information about deer herd health and suggestions in setting expectations. With all the gas development in the lower elevations, are those areas worth looking as there used to be some very good hunting in the mid elevations?
