Using the Magazine as a Barrier Stop

When shooting off a barricade or box blind window in a hunting scenario, are there any ill effects of using the magazine as a barrier stop? The magazine in question is a Tikka CTR.

No experience with a Tikka but in general that is a bad idea. Putting a lot of pressure on it and can slightly tweak the geometry and induce feeding issues.

Buy an AG game changer and shoot like this. A properly tuned mag/tight mag well shouldn’t give you any problems
