Any turkey hunters on here chasing 49?

I am not however I have 11 states, I just like hunting new spots but so many places are too inconvenient, I would rather hunt some of the same states and get as much hunting in as possible each spring.

I can definitely appreciate that! I’m at 26 and counting after 3 years of pursuing it and without a doubt go way too hard when season rolls around. Maybe I’ll run into you on a future turkey tour!

No, but hunting every state doesn't appeal to me. A lot of states do, and I'd hunt any one of the 49 given the right opportunity, but not for the desire to kill birds in all 49. I still chase them more than enough.

For me personally I look at it as a good reason to go places that I would never go otherwise. It’s taken me to some cool places where I’ve been fortunate to meet some truly amazing people. It’s definitely painful to pass up amazing places to go hunt somewhere I’ve never been and I’ve definitely questioned myself about the goal but I’ll also say it’s been worth every mile.
