What is interesting is the Benelli bump or click.
The Montefeltro is a pathetic example.
The best part is Benelli has never heard of such a thing when you contact them.
I know of 4 guys that own them and all 4 have the issue.

Or the POI problems of the SBE3. Also a well documented, proven design flaw by benelli. Had one, sold it, don’t regret it.

I have a Montefeltro and a Super Vinci. I keep reading about the "benelli click" that makes these guns "unusable", but I have put literally thousands of rounds through both guns and it hasn't happened to me. I can only assume it is operator error on the part of the folks having these problems.

The "Benelli Click" is when the bolt accidently comes out of battery and the trigger is pulled. The hammer strikes the back of the bolt body and not the firing pin. The result is a gun that clicks instead of going boom.
This has happened to me a few times after I've jarred the bolt after falling down or getting it snagged walking through brush.
It is most common in Inertia opearted models with a rotary bolt face. The best way of avoiding it is to be aware of it happening and then opening and forcefully closing the bolt. You can use the Wolffe +25% spring to help reduce it some. It won't eliminate it though, and it makes the action a little stiffer and even less reliable with lighter loads. Just never jar the bolt or snag it and it won't click instead of boom..

It actually is operator error of a design defect. If you bump, snag or snag the bolt and then pull the trigger it may click instead of fire.
I was running after some huns and got the click. Anything that causes the bolt to not be closed the entire way causes the click. Even something like running, or you bump it. Its ridiculous…my versamax has never had that problem.

I’ve been looking at an Ethos in 28ga for dove. They look like great guns.

I bought a SuperSport a few years ago and have had a ton of POI problems with it. Been tinkering with it for a while and just can't get it to fit right. The first time I took it out I shot wobble trap to warm up and was missing very, very easy shots. Shot it at paper and found out POA/POI wasn't lining up for me at all. I have never had that problem before, and I shoot a number of different shotguns for different purposes - Gold Stalker for ducks/geese, Maxus Hunter for pheasants, 725 Sporting for clays, 870 for rabbits and backup waterfowl gun - never an issue. My dad picked up the SuperSport and ran into the same problems. It might be time to give up on it and sell it.

I've put a lot of miles on my Montefeltro over the years in the grouse and I can only think of one time I've ever that happen. The bolt going out of battery when slightly moved is definitely something to be aware of, but I'm totally fine with just paying attention to it and still having a lightweight auto that points/swing well. With the heavy amount of upland hunting I do every year, it's just become second nature to watch out for it at this point, I honestly don't see it as being much differently than subconsciously double checking that the safety is still to the rear position on my over/unders, but YMMV.

It's not an issue unless you are clumsy and hunt in rough terrain. Well, I'm guilty of both, and it's a small issue. All shotguns have issues. I'm not selling my Monte!!
