Looking for info on spring bear in 17 out of Darby at the Paradise launch in June with horses
Anybody with some info on that? I'm from Idaho just haven't been in that area and looking to hunt more and check out some country

Will it be doable to get into that country with a trailer and pack in a ways?
Or just backpack and play it safe?

I took horses in from Darby over nez perce pass? I think anyways we rode way downriver and east from there. We actually were more scouting for elk( very few) but the trip was worth it just to go. it was a great trip in cool country. I think you were wondering about snow but I am not sure since we went in July. I would go late June and should be golden. I would combine the bear with a wolf hunt. There was a lot when we were there
