I have the kuiu vest, it's nice under a good mid layer for keeping the chill off in 45 degree weather. It feels like paper mache, your not busting brush wearing that thing. It's super lightweight don't even notice it in my pack.

I'm in the market for something like the Kuiu Super Down LT Puffer Vest. I like that it has 850FP hydrophobic down and weighs only 6 oz. Is there any other vest that can compete with these specs for layering under a jacket for extra warmth?

ghost whisperer 850 down fill Qshield down which makes it a little water resistant. I got one from Mercari for $25. Check offer up or Mercari you might be able to find a good deal on one of them.
