I have been using the sea to summit Alpha pan. Weighs like 8oz. Not the lightest but works great for the price.

I just boil them in my normal pot with seasoning. Easier to get the whole thing done evenly and easier to clean. Flavor is just as good.

Fry-Bake Alpine pan, learned about it from Patrick Smith and Paul Vertrees (Sawtooth). A bit expensive, but so worth it. Cooks like a regular pan on a fire or stove (w/diffuser), bakes with the lid. I used a pie tin (that I always carry still) before that.

Plus 1 on the Fry-Bake pans. Have used they for several years having learned of them off Backpackinglight.

If you carry a bear canister with you, look into switching to a Lighter1 can since their lids double as pans. It's not as light as a standalone pan, but it's lighter and packs smaller than a canister plus a standalone pan (the 600ci model comes in 3oz heavier than a 500ci BearVault).
