Turtleskin Gaiters question

I've had my Turtleskin gaiters for a month or so. To keep them from rising up as I walk, I use 550 cord and run it through the two outer grommets then under my boot. That's typically done with regular gaiters.

I think the Company advises undoing the boot laces and running the laces of the boot up through the center grommet and out the two outer grommets. Not sure that will keep the back of the gaiter from moving up.

How do you keep your Turtleskin gaiters on your boots so they're not moving around or sliding up your boot?
