Looking to pickup a portable speaker setup for various activities-UTV rides, Horse Barn, riding arena, and vacations. I see turtle box popping up everywhere you look. For those that have them would you recommend them? If you have a great brand you like, please advise!

I love mine. I am now partial to the smaller 'ranger' turtlebox, as it's easier to move around and take on the road. I do think the larger model's sound is better than the ranger, so it now just lives on my kitchen island for tunes at home. Ranger is a better speaker for travel and weekend trips. You can beat the heck out of both of them and they still work great.

Yes, I love mine. Also like the rangers for more portable. The weekend I bought mine last year, I was at the lake. Brought it down to the pier from 8-dark for 3 days and it wasn't dead when I plugged it up after that.

Are they worth it in the long run? Ive had plenty of quality speakers but just cant justify the price point of them.

they are great. We have one that lives in our sxs at the farm…outside all the time and it just won’t die.

I think they are... There may be a few speakers that have better sound, but not by a wide margin at all. From a battery life and durability stand point, I think you would be hard pressed to find anything better than Turtlebox

I should add that I did win my original turtlebox in a scramble... Did not realize the larger ones are $430. The Ranger is better value. Still loud as most would want.

I’ve got one and if it broke I’d immediately go buy another. It’s great. It’s nice to not have to always worry about it getting sand in it, or it getting wet, or whatever else can happen. Wish I would have bought it earlier before buying so many other speakers.

I won mine in a clay shoot. I had always said I would never buy one but I really enjoy it. Not sure they are worth $450. Klein tools jobsite speaker is pretty awesome for $75

I love mine and use them all the time. I bought 2 and pair them together. Very good sound quality. You will be surprised how often you will use them.

We have several Bose Bluetooth speakers and love them. When I am doing stuff and dont want to wear headphones, I clip the little square one on my belt and rock on. Works awesome.

Love mine. Beach, boat, river, mountains... we take it everywhere. The battery life, volume and sound quality is all good. 100% waterproof is really nice. Better than any other speaker we have tried (lots of smaller, more budget friendly stuff). Wife got it for me on Father's Day from Ace Hardware. I think it was 10% off. Still pricey, but worth it.

I hear the warranty is really good (from other folks that have used it). No issues with mine yet.

Never thought I’d like mine so much. Love music and have had some smaller style Bluetooth speakers but none compare to the turtlebox. Use it at the farm all the time while cleaning stuff up, riding the SXS, whatever. Even started taking it to play music setting up and taking down goose spreads in the field.

Use it outdoors at the house playing lacrosse with teh boys in teh yard, washing the trucks, etc. very happy i have one.

Real fun is hanging with friends and syncing mine and my older boys. Sounds like a concert together.
