Hello folks, first post here. This seems like a place where I need to be to help me decide on a pack!
I saddle hunt in East TN, and currently use a kifaru bane with the large organizer pouch for early season. The way I have it set up is perfect for what I carry in for that time of year, but it fills up fast the more layers/layering items i end up needing.
Im torn, between getting a hellbender with a claymore, or a stryker xl with a Sherman. Or possibly a stryker xl with a Sherman up top and a Rogan below. I think i seen i post with someone using that setup.
My current late season pack is a MR Sawtooth 45. Its OK, but im not 100% thrilled with it. I like lots of organization pockets to give everything its own place so im not digging through a big main compartment for the one thing I need, or pulling out multiple small pouches to find the one I need. I like a bit larger main compartment as all my clothes are a 2xl and take up a bit of room, and I don't use the thinnest, high tech packable items so the jacket is a bit on the bulky side.
Looking forward to those who may have had both packs or options listed above and can provide their feedback.
