Did some shooting on Monday to try out some Nosler Trophy Grade factory ammo in 300 wsm with the 180 gr accubonds. Wasn't having a great shooting day in general with stuff I normally shoot less than an inch opening up to 1.5 or so but when I shot the trophy grade all my groups were vertical strings about 2 in. Other ammo shot didn't do the same vertical stringing. Anyone else ever have this? Coincidence, barrel heating up, poor shooter form, swivel stud catching on bag? Again I know I wasn't there mentally and having a rough day but thought it was odd 3 separate groups all did this vertical string.
