Is the tenmile their high end scope and the credo a tier below? Just trying to figure out the difference…seems to be a lot of similarities.

I have/had multiple of both. No difference. Same glass per Trijicon. Credo is just lower max mag, 16x and below. Tenmile is 18x and up. They really should’ve spent more time figuring out Credo vs Tenmile and HX vs non-HX before coming to market with them. It’s a mess trying to figure out what is what. The Tenmiles come with Tenebraex covers too.

Seems like the price on the tenmiles is higher…like they are touting that as their top tier optic.

I called Trijicon and same glass. Long story short I went with the 2.5-15 for low end mag range. The sunshade and caps that come with tenmile are nice but I’m happy with Credo. One other thing I noticed about tenmile was lower overal adjustment for some reason. The credo 2.5-15 and 4-16 have a lot of adjustment and then tenmile is lower in the 3-18 and 5-25 I was looking at. Doesn’t matter for hunting but if someone wants to shoot past 1,000 maybe it would matter.

Maybe - someone on the hide pointed me towards this podcast with Trijicon’s marketing team. Tenmile is definitely meant to be the better optic. Guts and glass are different.

I’ll have to listen to that later. I don’t doubt there are differences between the 3-9x40’s and the rest of the lineup, but I have had or have these right now:

3-9x40 Credo
2.5-10x56 Credo
2.5-15x42 Credo
3-18x44 Tenmile
4-24x50 Tenmile

Taking out the 3-9x40, the rest have all felt exactly the same in hand. Turret feel, mechanisms, finish, overall quality. You could swap turrets and caps for instance and never know. The Credo glass is fantastic and I haven’t noticed if the Tenmiles are any better or not, but I had heard the glass was the same.

I had a Tenmile and sold it. Still have 2 Credo HX which I absolutely love and feel are a tuff scope. Like NXS tuff. I intentionally beat on one and can’t seem to get it to fail.
Trijicon has told me multiple times that the glass and guts are exactly the same in the two. I have a hard time understanding that. Why is the Tenmile (considerably) more expensive than the Credo if the only difference is the mag range. Not sure I’m falling for it but I will say I could not see any difference in glass between the two. The Credo glass IMO is excellent! I’d take the Credo HX over Tenmile for sure.
