Trijicon Accupoint for mid/long range hunting

I’m seriously considering a trijicon accupoint either the 4-16x50 or 3-18x50 for my new hunting rifle. If you have one and have used it hunting have you ever had problems with not being able to see the “fiber” dot in different light/backgrounds like shooting into the sun or an animal standing in the light and your shooting from the shade? Also, has your fiber dimmed noticeably over the years? 700 yards would be about the furthest it would get used out to. Thanks!
