Tricer Tipi Adapter?

Has anybody used the Tricer Tipi Adapter that allows you to connect two trekking poles forming the center pole for a tipi shelter? Any feedback? I didn’t see any mention of it when I tried using the search feature. Looks interesting, I’m thinking about trying it for a Seek Outside Cimmaron.
