Arca to Arca quick release. Nifty stocking stuffer idea. No testing on it yet, seems solid.
When flipped to tight it locks in place, tightness is adjustable.

Biggest concern is I tightened the shit out of the Arca on the ball head, so if the Tricer breaks I’ll need pliers to get it off.

I have something identical to this I got 2 of them on ebay for like $12 each, they work fantastic. I have one on my tripod and one on my window mount for quickly attaching my spotter.

Care to share a link to the ones you got?

yea, here it is
Andoer Professional Quick Release Clamp Lever Knob 1/4" For Arca Swiss Plate USA

here is one on ebay, but if you do a google search, you can find them cheaper

it says 1/4" but that is 1/4" adapter screw that goes into a 3/8" hole.
so it will work on 2 different size bolts on tripods/window mounts.

So am I understanding it right that you would need to have a separate arca plate to mount this to another arca head?

Yea I have a plate mounted to the bottom of my wiser precision pan head, it is a very small one.
something similar to this:

then I have 2 of the:
Andoer Professional Quick Release Clamps
One is on my tripod, and one is on my window clamp, it doesn't have a tripod head on it, just a clamp.
Then I can just use the wiser pan head on my tripod and my clamp, and switch them out fast.
I didn't want to have to screw the tripod head on and off, I wanted to be able to just take it off quick and put on window mount, or other way around.
