Trekking poles/monopod

Does anyone make trekking poles that will work as monopods as well? I'd like to get trekking poles that I can will attach to a pair of 15x binocs so I can use one of them as a monopod. But, it has to attach- I don't want to hold the binocs on top of a trekking pole. Make sense? How do I accomplish this?

I think Luke Moffat on here added a stud to the top of his regular treking pole that accepts either optics or the "V" rifle rest.
