Took the Hawken out

Traditions St.Louis Hawken ( Kit Gun I did years ago ) .54cal 1:48 twist, 70gr 3fg Gearhart-Owen, .020" patches, .530" round balls @ 50 yards. 6 shots total. I pulled shot #2 as I was aiming at my first shot, instead of just aiming normally. The others fell into place once I went back to the game plan.

of course, just changed out the front sight, so restarting all over again and dialing it in. Last rendezvous we had us a 200 yard shoot and i went home the winner, hitting it on the first shot.


200 yard, Yes I kicked one shot out a bit. 90gr 3fg. The red bullseye is 4" diameter to give you an idea.
